This knife arrived yesterday. I ordered it on Kickstarter, have been supporting quite some projects there lately.

It’s the Gyuto Knife Mach #2 from Koi Knives Australia.
It’s made from AUS-10 stainless steel with a nice damascus look. The handle is made from Blue Gidgee wood, gathered in the great Simpson Dessert in central Australia by Shannon. It’s truly a peace of art, a joy to look at.
The knife is very light to handle. It had a few itches in the initial paper test but with just a few strokes on the leather strap those were gone and the knife was razor sharp.
